Objective

The 2019 APEC CoE Pilot Training on Supply Chain Security for Medical Products training was intended to serve as a platform to raise awareness on the issues and challenges with adulterated pharmaceutical products and its impact on patient safety with real-life examples. Participants gained understanding on supply chain weakness, strategic approaches and best practices to mitigate vulnerability in supply chain, particularly to GDP, Track and Trace and Internet Sales. The training also exposed participants to “GDP in action” through half-day site visit.

Target Audience: Regulators, Industry stakeholders, Academia, Pharmaceutical distributors, Regulatory Consultants, etc. those who are involved in supply chain management and logistics for medical products.
